PRODUCT USES:

Thermidaire C.T.B 512 is a non-toxic liquid blend of a special mineral alkaline, all organic salt, designed for use in systems containing waters of low pH with low, medium, and high hardness

Thermidaire C.T.B 512 is a special mineral alkaline blended to be used as a conjunctional treatment with D.M. Concentrate. It is used with distilled or water high in permanent hardness for pH or alkalinity increase. This product is highly recommended for food processing facilities. Available in liquid or powder form.

Thermidaire C.T.B 512 primarily intended to increase the pH to proper range for good corrosion control, and can also be used where acidic waters require pH adjustment and where acidic wastes must be neutralized prior to discharge. In addition, it can be used for alkalinity control in steam boilers and cooling towers.

DOSAGES:

Requirements will vary depending on the nature of the make up water, the type of system, The treatment dosage should be adjusted to the desired reading of pH, average dosage is 100-150 ml. / 1000 imperial gallons (1250 US gallons) of make up volume to maintain pH value of 9-10. FEEDING:

Continuous feeding by chemical metering pump is recommended. The treatment should be injected to the deaerator storage section. Shot feeders can be used.

HANDLING:

Thermidaire C.T.B 512 is a strong alkali that can cause serious burns, avoid breathing mist, avoid contact with clothing, eyes and skin, should contact occur, flush immediately with plenty of fresh water.
