Thermidene A 400

PRODUCT USES:
Thermidene A 400 is a
combustion catalyst reducing
the facial surface tension of
the oil resulting in a complete
combustion, less carbon, soot,
gums, etc.
Thermidene A 400 absorbs
the water collected from the
tank sweating and condensate
entrained in the air from the
breather
Thermidene A 400 involves
the addition of a chemical additive,
which provides corrective, preventive,
efficient, and economical treatment
for the entire fuel oil system
from tank to burner.
DESCRIPTION:
Physical state: Liquid
Colour: clear light purple
BENEFITS:
Aids in preventing corrosion
Effective combustion booster.
Cleans the entire oil system
of soot and slag deposits.
DOSAGES:
Initial dosage: 1 gallon
of Thermidene A 400 for
each 1,000 gallons of oil in
the tank.
Continuous dosage: 1
gallon of Thermidene A 400
for each 3,000 gallons of
oil in the tank.
If water is excessive, pump
water from the bottom of the
tank as much as possible, then
add 1 gallon of Thermidene
A 400 for each 500 gallons
of oil in the tank.
FEEDING:
The best results are obtained
where Thermidene "VS"
is put into the lines or storage
tank just prior to delivery.
The optimum treatment level
for any plant will be specified
by Thermidaire Corporation.
HANDLING:
Thermidene A 400 is a
harmful product, causing severe
skin, eye, and respiratory tract
damages.
Avoid breathing mist, avoid
contact with clothing, eyes
and skin, should contact occur,
flush immediately with plenty
of fresh water. If discomfort
persists, seek medical attention.
Do not take internally. Wear
protective clothing, safety
shoes, glasses, goggles Keep
out of ignition sources. Store
in a cool, dry and well-ventilated
places. Keep container tightly
closed. Avoid contact with oxidizers.
Wash thoroughly after handling.
SPILL PROCEDURES:
Extinguish all ignition sources.
For small spills wipe out and
dispose in waste containers.
For large spills contain by
diking with soil or other non-combustible
absorbents and dispose in waste
containers. keep out of sewers,
surface waters, and soil. Local
effluent regulations must be
observed.

in 5 gallons pails, and 45 gallons
