PRODUCT USES:

Thermidene D 407 is a tap grade de-slugging and cleaning compound to be used as a purging agent to clean the lines, pre-heaters, burners, and aids to remove the water of condensation.
Thermidene D 407 is a highly effective and sludge preventative. It gradually coats the storage tank with a monomolecular film to prevent corrosion.
Thermidene D 407 is highly recommended for badly sludged up oil storage tanks. It is used and accepted in the heavy industry to prevent sludge and water to accumulate in the storage tanks. It is also extensively used in Diesel engines for the hard carbons removal.

DOSAGES:

The optimum treatment level will be specified by Thermidaire Corporation, and will depend on the specific use and operating parameters (e.g.: for normal preventative maintenance is required 1 gallon of Thermidene D 407 for each 4,000 gallons of oil delivered to the storage tank.

FEEDING:

The best results are obtained where Thermidene D 407 is put into the lines or storage tank just prior to delivery. Thermidaire Corporation will specify the optimum treatment level for any plant.

HANDLING:

Thermidene D 407 is a harmful product, causing severe skin, eye, and respiratory tract damages.
Avoid breathing mist, avoid contact with clothing, eyes and skin, should contact occur, flush immediately with plenty of fresh water. If discomfort persists, seek medical attention. Do not take internally. Wear protective clothing, safety shoes, glasses, goggles Keep out of ignition sources. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated places. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid contact with oxidizers. Wash thoroughly after handling.

SPILL PROCEDURES:

Extinguish all ignition sources. For small spills wipe out and dispose in waste containers. For large spills contain by diking with soil or other non-combustible absorbents and dispose in waste containers. keep out of sewers, surface waters, and soil. Local effluent regulations must be observed.
