PRODUCT USES:

Thermidene VS 406 is a combustion catalyst reducing the facial surface tension of the oil resulting in a complete combustion, less carbon, soot, gums, etc. is a specially compounded fuel oil treatment carefully blended to combat sulphur and vanadium deposits and corrosion on the fireside of the combustion areas, as well as sludge.
Thermidene VS 406 absorbs the water collected from the tank sweating and condensate entrained in the air from the breather
Thermidene VS 406 involves the addition of a chemical additive, which provides corrective, preventive, efficient, and economical treatment for the entire fuel oil system from tank to burner.

DOSAGES:

Initial dosage: 1 gallon of Thermidene VS 406 for each 1,000 gallons of oil delivered to the tank.
Continuous dosage: depends on the amount of sulphur and vanadium deposits, and the percentage of sulphur and vanadium in the oil delivered.
Light deposits:  1 gallon for every 4,000 gallons of fuel oil.
Excessive deposits: up to 1 gallon for every 1,000 gallons of fuel oil.

FEEDING:

The best results are obtained where Thermidene VS 406 is put into the lines or storage tank just prior to delivery. Thermidaire Corporation will specify the optimum treatment level for any plant.

HANDLING:

Thermidene VS 406 is a harmful product, causing severe skin, eye, and respiratory tract damages.
Avoid breathing mist, avoid contact with clothing, eyes and skin, should contact occur, flush immediately with plenty of fresh water. If discomfort persists, seek medical attention. Do not take internally. Wear protective clothing, safety shoes, glasses, goggles Keep out of ignition sources. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated places. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid contact with oxidizers. Wash thoroughly after handling.

SPILL PROCEDURES:

Extinguish all ignition sources. For small spills wipe out and dispose in waste containers. For large spills contain by diking with soil or other non-combustible absorbents and dispose in waste containers. keep out of sewers, surface waters, and soil. Local effluent regulations must be observed.
