PRODUCT USES:

Thermidaire Oxitherm 203 powder form, steam boiler water treatment, catalyzed oxygen scavenger that combines chemically with dissolved oxygen in feed-water or in the boiler to inhibit the formation of oxygen-induced corrosion.
Thermidaire Oxitherm203 will eliminate oxygen pitting and reduce the rate of return line corrosion through the elimination of oxygen being passed through the steam lines.

DOSAGE:

Prepare a 5-15 % solution of boiler water treatment of Thermidaire Oxitherm203 in an agitated tank, or feed the treatment in powdered form. in an agitated tank, or feed the treatment in powdered form. Dosage is usually 60 g. to 300 g. per thousand gallons of boiler make-up water. Dosages will vary depending upon the feed water temperature, type of boiler operation, type of heater or deaerator, air leakage into the system, etc. application rate should be adjusted to maintain a reading of 30-60 PPM Sulphite in the boiler, and 3-5 PPM in the feed water. Test kits are available.

FEEDING:

Thermidaire Oxitherm 203 A A continuous feeding by chemical metering pump is recommended. The treatment should injected to the deaerator storage section. Shot feeders can be used.

HANDLING:

Thermidaire Oxitherm 203 Mildly alkaline material, Avoid breathing dust, avoid contact with eyes and skin, should contact occur, flush immediately with fresh water. If discomfort persist, seek medical attention. Do not take internally.

PACKAGING:

Thermidaire Oxitherm203 is packaged in 100 lb., 300 lb., and 400 lb. lined fiber drums that should be stored in dry areas.
