Thermidaire Thermize
Plus C 606 is
a corrosion and scale
inhibitor based on
several different
organic and cationic
products used for
open cooling systems.
Thermize Plus C also
prevents the formation
and growth of certain
types of algae, slime,
and bacteria
Thermidaire Thermize
Plus C 606 is
a specially compounded
product with several
different organic
and cationic ingredients
used for cooling systems
as a scale and corrosion
inhibitor. Inhibits
corrosion in all parts
of the system.
Thermidaire Thermize
Plus C 606 Prevents
the formation and
growth of algae, slime,
bacteria, etc., carried
in as air-born bacteria
with the wind. Should
be used with an effective
biocide treatment
to control the more
stubborn forms of
algae, slime, and
bacteria
Thermidaire Thermize
Plus C 606 is
especially recommended
to be used in hard
waters.
DESCRIPTION:
Physical state: Liquid.
Colour: light brown,
clear.
ADVANTAGES:
Increases heat transfer efficiency.
Inhibits scale formation in
cooling waters and corrosion
of all metals.
Prevents deposition of hardness
salts.
pH control not required
Gradually removes existing corrosion
debris.
Low toxicity. Non-foaming.
Simple control test.
May be dosed directly from the
treatment drum as supplied.
Low cost cleaner, easy to use.
DOSAGES:
Thermidaire Thermize Plus
C 606 The optimum treatment
level will be specified by Thermidaire
Corporation according to the
operating conditions, such as:
pH hardness of water, temperature,
mechanical design of the system,
and recalculation factor. Average
dosage: 4 oz. (125 ml) of Thermize
Plus for each 1,000 gallons
of make-up water or 40 oz (1.14
litter), per 100 tons, operating
16 hours.
FEEDING:
Thermidaire Thermize Plus C
606 should be introduced
into the system continuously.
Automatic bleeding and feeding
system is required.
HANDLING:
Alkaline solution. (Non-hazardous)
Avoid contact with eyes and
skin, should contact occur,
flush with water. If discomfort
persists, seek medical attention.
Do not take internally. Do not
freeze, store at moderate temperature.
Keep container closed at all
times.
