PRODUCT USES:

Thermidaire Thermaclean 810 is a strong mineral (inorganic) acid in granular form designed to remove scale from those hard to get tubes in boilers, steam lines, condenser tubes, recirculating systems such as hot water systems and Chillers, cooling towers, vessels and pipe lines.

Thermidaire Thermaclean 810 used for hard water lime scale (calcium carbonate) removal. these scales are readily and completely dissolved.

Thermidaire Thermaclean 810 maintaining clean heat transfer and other critical areas in the systems.

Thermidaire Thermaclean 810 does a better and cleaner job when used at temperatures between 120^oF. and 140^oF.  Temperatures above 160^oF are to be avoided.

DOSAGES:

Thermidaire Thermaclean 810 should be used in sufficient quantity to maintain pH reading of 1-2.  Usually 10% of the solution. Adjustments in dosages can be made depending on the nature of the contaminants and the operating condition of the system and the thickness of the scale. Consult Your Thermidaire Water Treatment consultant for the proper amount that should be used.

FEEDING:

Thermidaire Thermaclean 810 can be introduced into the system manhole, as needed depending on the nature of the contaminants and the operating condition of the system.

DIRECTIONS:

Equipment should be set up to circulate Thermidaire Thermaclean 810 solution using a pump or steam jet ejector.  Introduce the solution at the lowest point of the equipment and return to mixing barrel from the top of the equipment being cleaned.  If circulation is not possible, soak the equipment over night or for 12 to 18 hours.  Rapid circulation has a greater affect on the rate of cleaning.

HANDLING:

Danger! Extremely Corrosive. Causes severe burns. Vapor extremely irritating. Wear protective clothing, boots, gloves, goggles, face shield and respirator and adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, should contact occur, flush with water and seek medical attention. Do not take internally. Do not freeze, store at moderate temperature. Keep container closed at all times. is not injurious to skin or clothes.
