PRODUCT USES:

Liquid form, complete internal steam boilers water treatment for scale and corrosion control.

As scale control, Thermidaire Thermatreat 302, react to precipitate calcium hardness in the boiler as sludge and prevent formation of hard calcium carbonate, silicate, and sulfate scale.

Thermidaire Thermatreat 302dispersion qualities are employed moderating the phosphate sludge created by diminishing the sediment ability to adhere the sludge remains suspended in the boiler water until removed by the blow-down.

Thermidaire Thermatreat 302contains the best and most highly concentrated blend of selected phosphates to assure maximum results with minimum treatment.

As corrosion inhibitor, Thermidaire Thermatreat 302 is catalyzed oxygen scavenger that combines chemically with dissolved oxygen in feed-water or in the boiler to inhibit the formation of oxygen-induced corrosion, eliminate oxygen pitting and reduce the rate of return line corrosion through the elimination of oxygen being passed through the steam lines

DOSAGE:

Thermidaire Thermatreat 302 Dosage is usually 60g. to 300g. per thousand gallons of boiler make-up water. Dosages will vary depending upon the feed water temperature, type of boiler operation, type of heater or deaerator, air leakage into the system, etc. application rate should be adjusted to maintain a reading of 30-50 PPM Sulphite in the boiler, and 3-5 PPM in the feed water. This product should be mixed with soft or condensate water Test kits are available.

FEEDING:

Thermidaire Thermatreat 302 A continuous feeding by chemical metering pump is recommended. The treatment should injected to the deaerator storage section. Shot feeders can be used.

HANDLING:

Thermidaire Thermatreat 302 Mildly alkaline Acidic material, Avoid breathing dust, avoid contact with eyes and skin, should contact occur, flush immediately with fresh water. If discomfort persists, seek medical attention. Do not take internally.
