PRODUCT USES:

Thermitan Concentrate 110 is based on a blend of carefully selected tannins for use in steam raising boilers and generators.

Thermitan Concentrate 110  provides both corrosion protection and scale inhibition scavenging oxygen, forming a protective film, and disrupting the crystal growth.
Thermitan Concentrate 110  also prevents galvanic or electrolytic corrosion up to 2 volts and conditions the sludge.

DOSAGE:

Thermitan Concentrate 110 is normally dosed so as to maintain the boiler water at a tannin index (THERMITAN value) of 18 to 20. The correct treatment level depends on conditions such as operating pressure and the chemical composition of the feed water. Thermidaire Corporation will specify the optimum treatment level.
Thermitan Concentrate 110 is normally diluted and injected by means of a dosage pump or a dosage pot as appropriate to the particular plant.

FEEDING:

Thermitan Concentrate 110 A continuous feeding by chemical metering pump is recommended. The treatment should be injected to the deaerator storage section. Shot feeders can be used.

HANDLING:

Thermitan Concentrate 110 is not considered to be harmful, but as with all industrial chemicals, care should be exercised in its handling and use. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, should contact occur, flush immediately with fresh water.
If discomfort persists, seek medical attention. Do not take internally. Non-Hazardous.

SPILL PROCEDURES:

Flush to drain with copious amounts of water, observing local regulations for effluent. The relevant authorities should be consulted before disposing of very large spills.

Thermitan Concentrate 110 is packaged in 5 gallons pails, and 45 gallons drums.
