Condensers and Closed Loops
(Chilled/Hot Loop Systems)

Dirt, scale, sludge, silt and corrosion make it much more difficult for your cooling system to operate efficiently, leading to bigger energy bills.

Cleaning Problems

Mill scale, oil, grease, pipe dope and dirt can collect in new chilled/hot loop water systems during their construction. If not removed, this debris may plug coils or damage pipe joints, pump seals and impellers. Thermidaire closed loop cleaners will flush the system of all harmful debris.

Condenser Scaling Problems

Scale buildup in cooling system condensers will decrease operating efficiency and possibly lead to a mechanical shutdown of the cooling system. Thermidaire inhibited de-scalers will dissolve and remove scale deposits and restore system efficiency.

Why Dispersants Are Needed for Condensers

Since condensers and closed loop systems are often located in the lowest point of cooling systems, mud, silt, scale and iron oxide tend to settle in the condenser tubes and end bells. This can cause tube plugging and an overheated condenser. Thermidaire dispersants will suspend the mud, silt, iron oxide and other particles and prevent them form settling. They can then be removed through normal bleed-off.
